What HERALBONY wants to convey on World Down Syndrome Day

March 21st is World Down Syndrome Day. At HERALBONY, we have named the period from today until April 2nd, World Autism Awareness Day, "HERALBONY BUDDY WEEK."
During this period, as unique "buddies," they will be running alongside each other, and will be releasing opinion advertisements and limited edition products to raise awareness of "autism" and "Down syndrome" among more people.

Published an opinion advertisement jointly with the Japan Down Syndrome Association

Today, March 21st, is World Down Syndrome Day, and we have published an opinion advertisement in collaboration with the Japan Down Syndrome Association.
“Unconscious prejudice can sometimes create a disconnect between people and make life difficult for them. Removing such prejudice can only be done with the power of the human heart, not with the power of technology.”
We aim to create a society where people with and without disabilities can understand each other and walk their own path to happiness.”
This opinion ad is not an action to attack or blame anyone. It is an action to get each and every person to face and think about this issue during BUDDY WEEK.

As a limited item for "HERALBONY BUDDY WEEK 2025", a limited edition T-shirt with 3 art serial numbers has been released, featuring the striking blue color that is the symbolic color of Autism Awareness Day.
The featured artist, Yasuhiro Kobayashi, is an autistic artist who has a color blindness disorder that causes him to perceive colors such as "red and green" and "blue and purple" in the same way. His works, which are painted with unique colors such as green elephants and purple skies, attract the hearts of many people.
Limited edition T-shirt with serial number "Karakoram mountain range of Hunza" (Limited to 15 pieces) Yasuhiro Kobayashi
Only 15 limited edition T-shirts with serial numbers are produced for each piece of art, and each one has a serial number, so there is only one of each number in the world. The fabric used is resistant to stretching even when hung on a hanger, so you can enjoy them not only as wearable pieces but also as art.
Limited to 15 pieces: Limited edition T-shirt with serial number "Santo Stefan Island in the Adriatic Sea"

The three works featured this time feature mountains with clear air, the majestic Adriatic Sea, and a scene of relaxing in the waves, and none of them have the same shade of blue.
We aim to create a world where people can live as they are, as irreplaceable individuals, beyond the boundaries of autism, Down's syndrome, and disabilities. I would be happy if you could feel this message in your work.

Furthermore, handkerchiefs featuring the same artwork will be released on April 2 (Wednesday), which is World Autism Awareness Day. Kobayashi has a strong preference for color, so be sure to keep this world of blue, which he created by repeatedly mixing paints, in your bag or pocket.
