Naoto Iguchi

Saffron Living Center (Aichi Prefecture)

Born in 1971 in Mie Prefecture, he lives in Nagoya City. He has been a member of Saffron Life School since 1987. His daily routine is to use the copy machines at the local convenience store and the facility to copy his own face and whatever he likes at the time. He presses his face against the glass surface and operates the buttons himself, moving his body in sync with the movement of the sensor light, creating a unique distortion on the screen. The stickers that are often used in his works are prize entry stickers that he peeled off while working with aluminum cans at the facility, and he has won many times. He has been going to the local convenience store every day for over 20 years, and when he is done, the staff skillfully wipes the oil from his face off the glass.

Stand out

Intellectual disability.
Even within that single word, there are countless individualities.

It means that it's not "normal."
At the same time, I think that's a possibility.

HERALBONY works with artists from welfare facilities across Japan.
It is an art and life brand that aims to create new culture.
