[NEWS] HERALBONY 2023 key visual announced

We are pleased to announce the 2023 key visuals for art lifestyle brand "HERALBONY."
The theme of the key visual is "clean and modern."
We aim to create a society where diversity is respected and everyone can live on an equal footing, placing great importance on the values of "empathy" and "the strength to care for others," and we deliver a clean worldview that is not bound by age or gender.
The costume design is by Iwate Prefecture artist Sanae Sasaki, who has been a popular part of HERALBONY's art since the brand's early days, and she is wearing a new shirt and dress printed with "(Untitled) (Circle)."
*This is a new product that will be released in mid-March.
■Three people, including keyboardist Kan Sano, are featured as models
For the 2023 key visuals, we asked three people with a connection to HERALBONY to serve as models: keyboardist Kan Sano, who produced the music for HERALBONY's sound project "lab.5 ROUTINE RECORDS" at the 21st Century Museum of Contemporary Art, Kanazawa; model Chiba Yuka, who is from Iwate Prefecture; and Iga Gan'odoru, a writer under contract with HERALBONY.
As for Iga Kannodome, a contracted artist with HERALBONY, his art will be used for the first time in items to be released in March 2023.
Information on the new products will be announced on the online store in mid-March. Please look forward to it.
■ Episodes from the shoot
The day of the shoot was when the three of them met for the first time.
Iga Kan'o, a contracted writer for HERALBONY, plays the cello as a hobby, and when keyboardist Kan Sano began playing on the grand piano on the set, the two of them sparked off a live session on the spot.
Even without exchanging words, we were able to show off each other's strengths in the same space, creating a space where we could resonate with each other.
You can also watch the making of the shoot on YouTube.
■Comment from Kan Sano
Through Heralbony's wonderful project "ROUTINE RECORDS," I felt that music exists in the space between people. I would like to continue to fully support Heralbony's activities, which are constantly turning things that tend to be perceived negatively into positive ones.

Comment from Yuka Chiba
We have something in common, we were both born in Iwate Prefecture.
When I first heard about this wonderful project in my hometown, I was so excited to look it up on the web and social media. I was so excited to be able to be a part of Heralbony's worldview that I tried to imagine how I could express it.
I was honored to perform alongside such a fascinating pair of performers, Cansano-san and Iga-san, and it was a wonderful and unforgettable experience for me. Thank you very much.

■Comment from Iga Kan'o-dome (from his mother)
The location where the key visual was shot was truly a professional workplace.
However, thanks to the support of the staff, I think that Kandoru was able to stay calm even with many cameras pointed at him. I felt like I had discovered a new side of him that even his parents didn't know about. The experience of working with many people to create something is very valuable for Kandoru.
Thanks to Heralbony, I think Gan-Otoko-Ryu was able to encounter a new world and experience the joy of connecting with people. Thank you for this opportunity.
