■ Takashimaya "Life+Design" main visual: Introduction of works and artists

Title: " Apple Bouquet "

Artist: Yuh Mitani

Current position: JOY Club Art Department Atelier Bravo (Fukuoka Prefecture)

Born in Fukuoka City in 1988. A character drawing he had done in the corner of his diary caught the eye of a teacher at a special needs school, and his illustrations were used in the Special Olympics Nippon Fukuoka calendar. He then decided to pursue a career in painting, and joined Atelier Bravo the following year. He is an artist whose unique way of capturing shapes is enjoyable, and he creates colored pencil drawings, pale watercolors, and vivid, thick-line acrylic paintings. In 2015 (Social Welfare), he created a mural in the bathroom of Yasuragi-so Welfare Village at Yasu Kogen, and from 2016 to 2017, his work was used on Ryoyu Bread packaging four times, delighting the eyes of many.

■ Venue: Tamagawa Takashimaya Main Building 1F T-Stage 1

Artist: marina

He loves sushi, games, cooking, and drawing. He started making art at the age of 12, and among the various works he creates, his favorite is something like letters written across the entire surface of a notebook. Are these letters an ancient inscription, or a new language of the near future? Only he knows the meaning behind the flowing, scribbled typography.

Additionally, a signing session with Satoru Kobayashi, a member of the Lumbini Museum of Art in Iwate Prefecture, will be held at Yokohama Takashimaya on Sunday, October 1st. *Details about the event will be announced on HERALBONY's social media accounts at a later date.

Artist: Satoru Kobayashi Residence: Lumbini Museum (Iwate Prefecture)

While attending a junior high school for the disabled, he began to write all kinds of characters in a distorted way according to his own rules. At first, those around him were confused and struggled to correct him, but eventually several teachers recognized his characters as his original "formal expression" and actively supported his creations, and his expression began to take flight as art that brings joy to many people. His favorite musicians are Billy Joel, Spitz, and Yosui Inoue. He tries to communicate with others through the exchange of having his back scratched.

■There will also be a sticker giveaway exclusive to the pop-up store!
Customers who purchase one or more items during the pop-up period will receive one of three random stickers featuring designs of Yuh Mitani's "Apple Bouquet," marina's "marina-moji," or Kobayashi Satoru's "Summer Demon."

Participating stores: Tamagawa Takashimaya, Yokohama Takashimaya, Morioka Kawatoku Department Store
