Yukihito Okabe「Hoo!Hey!」

Yukihito Okabe

Enrolled at Garden of Hope (Mie Prefecture)
Born in 1994. Autistic. He creates a surface by applying crayon, then scrapes it off with a needle to remove the color, and collects the crayon shavings, which he uses like clay to create a work of art while playing.Recently, he has been expanding the range of his creation methods, such as using a needle to scrape off the surface of a board or canvas that has been colored with crayons and poster colors. In fact, the mass of shavings he collects (which he calls "koroichi") is his true work, and the resulting paintings are just shavings that he has no interest in.

Born in 1994. Autistic. He creates artworks by painting surfaces with crayon, scraping them off with a needle to erase the color, and playing with the resulting crayon shavings like clay. Recently, he has expanded his production methods, adding poster colors to crayons on boards or canvases, and then scraping the colored surfaces with a needle. In fact, the lumps made from the scraps (which he calls "koroichi") are the real works for him, and the resulting paintings are just scraps left over from scrapings and he has no interest in them.
