Uchiyama.K's work decorates Tokyo at "Brillia Temporary Enclosure Art"
Project Start

The "Brillia Temporary Enclosure Art" project, which decorates the temporary enclosures protecting construction sites with art, began on Wednesday, December 18, 2024.

Brillia, a condominium brand developed by Tokyo Tatemono, has been involved in a wide range of art activities for some time, and as part of this, is also participating as a gold sponsor of the HERALBONY Art Prize 2024.

"Red and Blue World Map"
Uchiyama K

The work chosen is "Map of the World in Red and Blue" by Uchiyama K, winner of the Tokyo Tatemono Brillia Award at the HERALBONY Art Prize 2024. Uchiyama's "Map of XX" series, drawn with over 100 different 0.5mm pens, is a collection of works that are overwhelming in their detailed depiction. Among them, "Map of the World in Red and Blue" has a dramatic impression due to its contrasting colors.

Based on the concept of "living your own life," please take a look at the "Red and Blue World Map," which has been turned into the costumes and furniture of the characters in the illustrations.

Fashion items that stood out on TV shows over the New Year holidays

> Classic shirt "Square, circle and triangle"
Miyuki Higo

Recently, HERALBONY apparel items have been increasingly used as costumes in magazines and TV programs. Especially during the New Year period, many unique fashions have been featured in various programs.

Asako Ito wore the classic shirt "Square, Circle and Triangle" by Miyuki Higo on Nippon Television's "DayDay." and "ZIP!" . The refreshing pastel colors matched the show's set and looked great on her.

Ikkei Okukameya

In addition, Ito-san also wore a satin dress in the New Year's Eve special program "Gochi ni Narimasu! SP." The vibrant colors of Ikkei Okukameya's "Manabe-san Says He Wants to Make the Earth Beautiful" have a presence befitting the end-of-year special program. The loose silhouette makes it perfect for dressing up on days when you want to enjoy a meal.

In fact, this satin dress by "Manabe-san who wants to make the earth beautiful" was also featured on the NHK E-TV program "Morning Until No Art, No Life," which also featured guest appearances by Takaya Matsuda and Fumito two years ago. It was worn by the program's narrator, Yayako Uchida .

Last year, the director of Yamanami Kobo, where HERALBONY contracted artists Shunichi Iwase and Ryo Nakao are based, was Mr. Kazukazu Yamashita, who appeared as a guest. An interview article with Mr. Yamashita is also available in the HERALBONY JOURNAL.
