Choco Nanbu, a popular brand from Komatsu Seika Co., Ltd. in Ninohe City, Iwate Prefecture, was born from a revolutionary idea of splitting Nanbu Senbei rice crackers, a local food of the Aomori and Iwate regions, and combining them with chocolate.
It took more than 600 days from conception to the birth of this collaborative product between HERALBONY and Choco Nanbu.
Chocolate with a crunchy texture
The chocolate is made from 100% "Green Cacao," also known as "the cacao that creates the Amazon forests." This couverture chocolate is characterized by its fruity acidity and strong cacao flavor.
It is topped with crushed Nanbu rice crackers, which are full of irregular personalities, and freeze-dried strawberries, raspberries, and passion fruit, giving it a colorful finish.
The back of the chocolate is engraved with a geometric pattern, which blends beautifully with the art on the tin packaging, making this a magical item.
