Colorful lights shine through the quiet night air. Expressiveness unique to Iga.

"Night View" by Kaoru Iga

Yuki Owada chose the classic blouse from the work "Night View" by artist Kaoru Iga. Iga loves the color blue, and all of his works have a certain elegance and calmness to them, making them suitable for all genders and ages. The work "Night View" used this time is one such piece. It evokes the image of colorful neon lights bleeding into the quiet night air.

Style 1: Perfect for wearing under a jacket! A good balance of basic and unique.

Owada: At first glance, it has a variety of colors, but it doesn't stand out too much. I intuitively felt that this balance was wonderful and it would go well with any outfit. The fabric is unique but not too flashy, so it's an all-purpose item that will go well with a variety of colors.

Today, I paired it with a black jacket and thick gray bottoms. The size is neat and compact, so it's perfect as an inner layer for a jacket. The length of the blouse is also perfect, and when worn untucked, it just covers your stomach. It's not too long, and not too short, so it's perfect for enhancing your adult figure.

Even if you pair it with trendy design items such as a black oversized jacket or wide bottoms, this blouse will neutralize them well.

The sleeves are subtly puffed, creating a soft and elegant silhouette.

Style 2: A sophisticated and casual holiday style with a night view blouse as the main focus and denim.

Owada: Recently, I've been feeling like pairing jeans with a nice blouse rather than a T-shirt! This blouse has a beautiful shape, nicely finished cuffs, and embroidered buttons, so it has attention to detail and is well-made, so it looks classy even when paired with a casual style for the weekend.

For example, even when paired with denim, it doesn't look too casual and gives off a neat impression, which is mature and lovely. Of course, it goes well with a jacket as an inner layer, as in the first outfit, but it also makes a statement when worn alone with jeans. It's a little chilly today, so I kept most of my outfit in one tone and draped a bright red loose knit over my shoulders to add an accent color.

It also matches well with a relaxed look of denim and barefoot loafers. Add a red knit as an accent color.

I am attracted to the worldview that Iga-san depicts.

For a casual look, leave the top and bottom buttons undone for a more casual look. Wear a black mini tank top underneath.

Owada: I think that not viewing disabilities as something special is something I think about myself on a daily basis, and I felt that I could empathize with a lot of things. The sense of seeing disabilities as "one of the characteristics". Humans, including myself, are not perfect, and we don't need to be perfect, so I don't think "not being able to do something" is something special. Also, it's really wonderful to have the talent to draw pictures like this.

I especially like the style of Iga Kan'o-dome. I've seen his other works, and they all have wonderful use of color, and I'm drawn to the world he depicts. I'd love to see him make T-shirts and other items based on his other works! I'm sure they'd be really cute!
