Introduction of artists and their works (partial list)

Artwork: "Hamburger (2)" | 418,000 yen (tax included)

Artist: Atsuhito Fujiki

Currently employed at Yamanami Kobo (Shiga Prefecture)

Born in 1994, currently living in Shiga Prefecture, and has been with Yamanami Studio since 2014.

Pointing at passing cars, he asks, "Nissan?" "Honda?" He repeatedly confirms the name of the support worker and his favorite food. Each and every exchange of words becomes a way for him to make contact with others. The answers to his questions become a form of wordplay, and are also an important means of communication for him to ascertain the other person's thoughts and state. His creative activities are an extension of this relationship. He creates artworks repeatedly, always enjoying conversations with his support workers. He confirms his favorite cars, foods and people in words and then draws them. All of the works that emerge from his expressions are imbued with a feeling of cherishment.

Artwork: "Dandelion" | 220,000 yen (tax included)

Author: Masahiro Fukui

Current position: Art Space Karafuru (Tottori Prefecture)

His style of work is to look at motifs and illustrated catalogs before drawing. All the plants that catch his eye are warm. His works, drawn with a thick brush, are lovely and take the viewer to a gentle world.

On the other hand, works that use the "Fukui font," boldly expressed with a magic marker, exude a dignified atmosphere and confuse the viewer's eye.

We look forward to seeing you all.

About "Love Difference."

"live my own way".

There is no single right way to live or set values. At HERALBONY, we believe it's okay to be unusual and different from others. The extraordinary art created by people with intellectual disabilities is free and original, and gives us, the public, a new way of looking at the world. When you change the way you look at things, you change. When you change, the world changes too. Look at things however you like. Color them however you like. Change the world however you like. We believe that "Diversity & Inclusion" begins with finding what you just love.
