Michiyo Yaegashi

Using water-based brush markers, Michiyo Yaegashi creates intricate and vibrant screens filled with dynamic colors. She began drawing her first artwork at the age of 19. Since then, she has produced a series of striking works characterized by vivid colors and meticulous compositions at a rapid pace. Artworks like "Word Processor" and "Origami" were named by the artist herself. Her artistic production temporarily ceased due to her health conditions, but after several years, she resumed drawing little by little. Her current style differs significantly from her previous one, keeping it simple yet full of emotions.
